Use this site to escape from the everyday challenges of chemo by playing games, watching videos, learning tips, and connecting with others.

Why “Chemo Kids?”

There are so many resources created for pediatric cancer patients. However, most of them are targeted towards younger age groups, leaving out teens. Teens are in this uncharted territory of no longer benefitting from activities meant for little kids, and are not yet adults to benefit from resources created for people 18 and older.

So, Care For Chemo Kids seeks to bridge that gap by providing resources that remind teens that they are still kids at heart, while catering to their specific age group. We believe that it is the childish attributes in teens that will help them through treatment. Laughing about the small things and focusing on the bright parts of their lives is essential in making chemo manageable.

Teens on chemo miss out on so many formative experiences. This website was created in hopes of bringing back some of those experiences through community building.

Meet the Team

Aaron Massachi
Founder

Hi! I’m Aaron and I am currently a senior at de Toledo High School. As someone who has been personally affected by pediatric cancer, it has become very meaningful and important to me to find ways to make the challenges of receiving chemo just a little bit more manageable. I have loved working on this project to give back to the community. I hope these resources can support you or someone you know who may be going through cancer treatment!

Hi! I’m Asher, a senior at Calabasas High School. My passion lies in sports, and I proudly represent the Calabasas High School tennis team as a varsity member. Beyond the court, I dedicate my spare time to giving back to my community. Volunteering at the Motion Picture and Television Hospital near my home allows me to assist the residents, contributing to their well-being and enriching my own sense of fulfillment.
